Mr. Edward Tsui was appointed as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Ghana in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana in March 2020.
Mr. Tsui was appointed by the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda in Beijing as an Honorary Advisor for Trade, Tourism and Investment in China (Hong Kong and Macau SAR) for a term of office from November 2016 to June 2019. He has served as a member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference to represent Qinzhou, Guangxi Province since December 2019.
He graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in November 2004 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) degree in Accounting. He gained the qualification as an accountant and certification (practising) by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants in January 2009 and January 2012 respectively.
Mr. Tsui has over 18 years of experience in the accounting and corporate sectors. Since January 2012, he has been the CEO of AE Majoris Group, business of which focuses on five key realms: financial advisory, accounting, corporate services, business development and asset management. Throughout the years, the Group has been providing customised one-stop services for clients from Hong Kong, mainland China and across the globe. He served as the company secretary of Noble House (China) Holdings Limited (now known as China Gas Holdings Limited) (stock code: 8246, a GEM-listed company) from July 2013 to August 2014. From August 2004 to January 2012, He worked with an international accounting firm in Hong Kong, where his last position was an Audit Manager. In June 2015, he was appointed as a director of Tree Holding Limited (stock code: 8395, a company listed on GEM). From January 2017 to April 2018, Mr. Tsui was a non-executive director of GBA Holding Limited (stock code: 261, a company listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange). He has also been the company secretary of Ching Lee Holdings Limited (stock code: 3728, a company listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange) since 14 August 2017. He has been a non-executive director and company secretary of Jiu Zun Digital Interactive Entertainment Group Holdings Limited (stock code: 1961, a company listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange) since February 2019.
